Nat'l Geographic NewsWatch: Road Deaths May Be the No. 1 Threat to U.S. Wildlife

National Geographic NewsWatch reports that wildlife-vehicle collisions cause hamr to people and wildlife alike and result in more deaths of animals in the US than laboratory-testing and hunting combined. The UC Davis Road Ecology Center and the CROS web site feature in the story as sources of information and a novel way to report roadkill.
