Jessica Dorenkamp is a senior at Montezuma-Cortez High School who will be attending Colorado State University in fall of 2011 to attain a degree in Fish, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology. This web site was Jessica's idea and she developed most of the content for it. She contacted the UC Davis scientists and convinced them that Colorado needed a site like this.
Joshua Walton is a Science Teacher at Montezuma-Cortez High school. He has been teaching for 3 years. He went to Fort Lewis College where he majored in both Environmental Biology and General Biology and minored in Chemistry and Environmental Policy. He has done several field studies with professors and graduate students from Fort Lewis College, Northern Arizona University, Colorado State University, and the University of Colorado Boulder. Before becoming a teacher he also worked at the Wolf Education and Research Center in Winchester, Idaho.
Fraser Shilling, Dave Waetjen, and Jim Quinn are the developers of the roadkill and wildlife observation systems for California and Maine, and now Colorado. They are affiliated with UC Davis, Department of Environmental Science and Policy (ESP), They all work at the Information Center for the Environment (ICE), where CPSS is hosted. Fraser is the co-Director of the Road Ecology Center at UC Davis, Dave is a graduate student in the Geography Graduate Group, and Jim is a Professor in ESP and the Director at ICE.
