Maine Audubon Wildlife Road Watch Stays Ahead

Congratulations Maine observers for more good press (http://www.pressherald.com/2016/05/29/tracking-wildlife-roadkill-in-main...) about the Wildlife Road Watch program. I happened to be in Portland when the reporter was writing the story and I tried to do my part traveling through your beautiful state, collecting mostly dead animal observations. As the summer heats up, we will probably see more and more wildlife deaths on roads. Of course, we can also report live animals on this site too, which is a more cheery enterprise. The Road Watch program will be ably represented at an International Road Ecology conference in France this August by Barbara Charry, your worthy coordinator. Your program is still one of the largest of its kind in the US and in the top 10 in the world. You should all be proud.
