Observation Date / Time

I was driving west when the quail bombed out of Greenhorn Creek and flew into my right side mirror, hitting with such force as it forced the retractable mirror into my side window (no damage). I went back and colleced the bird (I have a valid hunt license and upland bird stamp). Appears that about 50% of the breast is bruised beyond use.
