Barn Owl
Identification Confidence
somewhat confident
Observation Date / Time

On freeway, so I could not take photo. But driving by, I could plainly see a tawny and white colored wing and feathers flapping, and it looked clearly like a Barn Owl. Fresh kill. Right on centerline, so wing would not have been flapping if it had not been fresh. I drove by about an hour later, and it was mushed into the pavement, but it still looked like a Barn Owl.
