Maine Audubon Wildlife Road Watch Stays Ahead

Congratulations Maine observers for more good press (http://www.pressherald.com/2016/05/29/tracking-wildlife-roadkill-in-main...) about the Wildlife Road Watch program. I happened to be in Portland when the reporter was writing the story and I tried to do my part traveling through your beautiful state, collecting mostly dead animal observations. As the summer heats up, we will probably see more and more wildlife deaths on roads.

Welcome to the new and improved site

Hello Mainers

This new site is the first of its kind in the country. Designed by programming wizard David Waetjen, it has more varied and advanced capacities than its big sister site in California. It was designed to be useable on the small screens typical of smart phones so that people can report from the field. We hope you can make use of its capacities to conserve wildlife in Maine.
