I've spent my entire life hiking/camping/kayaking/fishing/photographing the wilderness of ME and NH. As an amateur naturalist I'm curious and interested in all species of Maine's plants and animals, as well as its geology Not only do I enjoy finding and observing, but I also make an effort to identify and protect. Although my background is not in science, it's long been a hobby of mine, and have stayed involved in the natural world through captaining a whale watch boat, volunteering for animal surveys (MAMP, fish and bird surveys), and personal time spent observing and photographing plants and animals.
