Final obs of the day,86F, CLR, Wind light and Variable, clean area, minimal disturbance in the area within NBG5 that was surveyed, good desert scrub habitat with Brittle-bush predominant. Evidence of species of note; Peninsular Bighorn Sheep, Bobcat, healthy prey base including pocket gopher, black-tailed jackrabbit, abundance of desert k-rats and probably Merriam’s. Found old bighorn tracks in the floodplain, feral or domestic dog tracks as well.
