Observation Date / Time

Fresh dead Cooper's Hawk and Eurasian Starling found about 10' apart. I suspect the Cooper's Hawk had just captured the starling, pinned it to the ground, and was so focused it didn't see the car coming. It may have startled and flown up into the car, as there was no obvious impact damage to the birds. The impact killed the hawk and tossed the starling 10' further.
