Observation Date / Time

We were heading up to go hiking and saw the bear and turned around to confirm what we saw and take the picture. Shortly after we spoke with two staff from the concessionaire for the National Forest that confirmed the baby bear death. We both agreed it must have been struck by a vehicle. The two staff didn't see the bear when they drove by on Friday (observed on a Sunday morning), so it may have happened Saturday (7/24/21) or early Sunday morning.
